Haptic Design Lab was started in 2014 to pursue design and fabrication opportunities in large-scale public infrastructure, art and furniture using a combination of wood and metal. The word “haptic” relates to the sense of touch and the understanding of objects through touch. Haptic Design Lab projects re-think the interaction of people and public furniture.
